Start your day with a visit to the Cretan Honey factory for an introductory class combined with a tasting of Creten Thyme honey.

The renowned Balos lagoon is situated about 56km northwest of Chania and 17km northwest of Kissamos, formed between Cape Gramvousa and the smaller Cape Tigani, below the Platiskinos range. It's considered one of the most photographed beaches in Crete and a highlight in many tourist guides about Greece. Notably, Prince Charles and Princess Diana visited Balos on their private yacht years ago.

Balos is celebrated for its stunning turquoise waters, untamed natural beauty, and picturesque exotic surroundings. During the summer, it draws thousands of visitors, primarily arriving by ferries from Kissamos port.

What to expect

Pick up from your hotel and drive to The honey factory located in a village close to Kissamos. Take part in a tasting and a tour of the honey factory. After the honey experience, your driver will take you to the port of Kissamos to board your private boat. Afterward, return with the bus to your hotel.
