The day starts with a visit an an Olive Oli factory learning about the different types of Olive oil found in Crete. Next embark on a scenic stroll that connects Crete's Northern coast and Kissamos Bay, extending towards the expansive West Coast. Marvel at the boundless vistas of the Cretan Sea while traversing the high ridge. Descend to explore the historical Greek port and conclude your journey with a rejuvenating dip in the crystalline turquoise waters.

Starting from a charming old village just a short 10-minute drive away from Kissamos, this straight-line walk ends in Falassarna on the beautiful West coast of the area.

At the beginning, you'll hike uphill through various landscapes, then leave the main road for a narrow path through the maquis plants. Later on, the trail widens among olive groves, offering views of Kissamos Bay along a rough dirt road. Once you reach the top, you'll see an incredible view of the West, with endless shades of blue from the sea.

As you descend, the scenery changes to a rougher terrain with low Mediterranean plants like thyme bushes and exposed rocks. Beyond Falassarna's blue waters, you'll spot faraway rocky islands that add to the stunning views.

Arriving in Falassarna is the endpoint of the walk. Here, you can explore the ruins of an ancient Greek harbor that was lifted 6 meters above sea level by an earthquake almost two thousand years ago. Alternatively, you can take a refreshing swim in the clear waters or relax at a cafe with a view of the bay.
